I'm able to offer various recording studio related services.
My aim is to care about your recording project just as much as you do and to use all of my experience to get the best possible results for your music in a laid back atmosphere. Client satisfaction is an absolute priority.

As well as a being a session drummer, I was co-producer on 5 of Kylie Minogue's live DVDs (between 2001 and 2007) and have been involved at the pre and post production stages on several live and studio projects over the last 20 years.

Whether you're a solo singer needing to record vocals over a backing track or a band needing somewhere to record live drums and other instrument overdubs, you can feel confident your music will be in good hands. I'm also able to create backing tracks from scratch or offer assistance with demos.

The studio is a small purpose-built facility. The control and live rooms have been independently isolated and acoustically treated to ensure the studio not only sounds great but is also extremely comfortable. Two separate air-conditioning systems and plenty of natural light result in an extremely pleasant and relaxed working environment.

Equipment

The equipment is based around a powerful Apple MacPro Computer running Logic 9 and using 2 Apogee Rosetta 800 audio interfaces. The monitor speakers are Dynaudio BM15's along with Yamaha NS10's. I use microphones from manufacturers including Brauner, AKG, Sennheiser, Electro-voice, Audio Technica, SE Electronics and Shure as well as preamps from Universal Audio, Rupert Neve and TLA.

There are plenty of additional plug-ins available to help create, edit and mix your music.
As a result you can be assured your material will be recorded to an extremely high standard.

As a endorsee of Yamaha Drums and Zildjian Cymbals, there is a drum kit permanently set up and miked in the live room. A variety of snare drums and cymbals are available.
