Every month on this page you’ll find a movie clip that demonstrates either a groove, an exercise, a pattern, or anything in fact that I use in my drumming.

It’s important to realise that the point of ‘Something Useful’ isn’t to introduce new revolutionary concepts, but to highlight some things that have really helped me.

Yamaha Promotional Video

I wrote these two songs to show the DTXtreme3 Drum Trigger Module in action for Yamaha UK’s launch of the new product. As I mentioned earlier, the project was a lot of fun and it was refreshing to have a lot more space than in my studio’s live room!
