Andrew Small has built a reputation as a highly regarded drummer, musical director and producer.

Small’s original music has an eclectic feel, inspired by jazz, afro-Cuban, gospel, soul and funk influences, with the resulting sonic melting pot appealing to many.

His career has seen him work with a diverse set of high profile artists including a 5 year stint as Kylie Minogue’s Musical Director. He also spent 10 years touring as Massive Attack’s drummer along with an extended period as Musical Director for the classical crossover group Il Divo.

His vast experience has also seen him work with acts such as Courtney Pine, Moloko, and Des’ree.

Such a wide palette of styles has helped contribute to his creative output not just as a musician but also as a producer, and songwriter.
